Hey all,
I'm just installed this excellent program and am wondering if I could be able to track downloads that are going on at any point in time. I'm not sure if it would require scripting or if its even possible, so any point in right direction would be appreciated. What I want is to be able to see a list of ip addresses, the file they are getting, the speed, maybe abillity to cap this at a max speed dynamically, and to cease the current connection.
Thanks in advance,

Mithril,
Such a feature is not available in the web server (and is very rarely available in web servers in general because it is a resource hog).
But it could be very easily implemented by a script. The "File Script" script already implements some features you are asking for and can be updated to support the rest (download tracking): http://www.aprelium.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5043 . _________________ Support Team

Speaking of the File Script. The next version will be supported on all Server OS's
because I will be using nothing but SQL in it. :-)
It will also feature a new feature "Time Interval." This new feature will allow you
to set a time duration of when the people are allowed to download the files. This
new system will be per file/dir/type.
The new development will start in the Fall of 2006. |
