I'm trying ton install ABWS for Fedora Core 6, but I can't seem to get it to install.
I've:
1. Launched Terminal.
2. Changed the directory to the Desktop, where ABWS was downloaded, and where I want to install it.
3. Typing "tar xzfm abwsx1.tgz"
I've tried going to 127.0.0.1 in FireFox, but to no avail. What am I doing wrong? Thanks. |

| You probably didn't run Abyss Web Server with root privileges. The server is probably online, but it might be running on another port besides 80. Make sure you start Abyss with the -r switch. |

Have you entered the directory and executed ./abyssws to launch the server? Have you browsed the URL displayed by the server as its local web site URL?
