I thought that some of you may find this usefull :-
You can run abyss web server as a system service on windows 2000,2000 server and windows xp. The trick is the task shedule utility, You need to create a new task and call it web server (or anything you like) select browse on the second window and browse to the web server folder. Select the file abyssws.exe You need to tell it to start the program at system startup and deselect the stop after 72hours option in the advanced window. Restart the computer and it will run silently in the background. Make sure however that you dont run the exe from the start menu as this will conflict with it.
I hope this is helpfull to everyone and thanks Aprelium for a writing great software that is not full of junk. A large corperation we all know show follow your example.

or you just click Auto Start on the server's server menu and it will start up at system start. A lot less hassle :) _________________
