Believe it or not, I have a NEW problem!

Recently, I found that my IP address was changing on me, resulting in my clients telling me they could not find my website. I then went to this website called "Dynamic DNS Network Services" to get a fix for my changing IP. I got the following response which confuses me:

We don't provide static IP addresses - we provide fixed DNS hostnames,
eg blah.dyndns.org, that point to your dynamic IP and that can be
updated using a third-party client to automatically point to the new
IP when your IP changes. With that service, you'd obviously have to
give your clients the blah.dyndns.org-type hostname.

use the service dyndns.org, register for a "free" account, download one of their many clients, run this program on your server, everytime your IP changes this will update the (MX?) record on their servers and will redirect the user from Http://xxxxx.dyndns.org to http://yourip/

A good third party program that works well with DynDNS is DynDNS Updater Version 1.1.0.22 at http://www.kana.homeip.net/dyndns/index.html

This program will monitor your IP address and when it changes will update your address.dyndns.org immediately... Good luck :)
