|

I'm new to using Abyss and am trying to host my own sites on my own server. All sites are very low traffic and take up very little space. My question is, how is Abyss configured to allow multiple domains to be hosted on one server using only 1 static IP? I've got 5 separate web sites that must all have separate URLs. In other words, when someone types in "www.mydomain.com", it cannot be displayed in the IE Address window as "www.maindomain.com/mydomain.com". I hope that makes sense. I'm trying to configure Abyss to allow multiple domains in one root directory. Is that possible? Thanks. _________________ MDC |

The current release is designed to host only one domain (one web site). In
the future releases, there will be a specific version made for hosting
multiple domains on the same server with only one IP.
Anyway, some users of the current Abyss Web Server suggested a workaround
that works with domain registrars that provide URL redirection. Please
read the posts in our forum at
http://www.aprelium.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=145 . This method is not
supported by us, but can solve the problem temporarly until a multiple
hosting version is launched. _________________ Support Team
