I think it's a firewall issue.
Temporarily shut off your firewall, then try to access your site.
That's the easiest and quickest way to be sure it's the firewall.

Ok, I'll do this in the future, but this didn't happen when I was using before when I was using IE, so I didn't know what to think.
Because IE will request /favicon.ico only when the visitor bookm ...

Doesn't matter if it shows for you, your viewing it from the computer your hosting it from.
