Scope:
Order: Deny/allow
allow for: URLS that I want to be allowed
deny for: *

403 is just to show that directory listing has been forbidden. There is no official error for it, so 403 it is.
Try disallowing all (Or *, can't remember how abyss looks off hand.) and allowing the ... |
