|
|
I develop in Delphi and I have the possibility of tracing the progress on my dll line by line by using the RUN option with "Host application" of C:\Program Files\BlueFace\FWS\Sserver.exe (e.g. Falcon Web Server).
In ISAPI, one has "Host application" of c:\winnt\system32\inetsrv\inetinfo.exe and a parameter of -e w3svc
I tried doing something similar by invoking "Host application" C:\Program Files\Abyss Web Server\abyssws.exe without any parameter. This brings up Abyss and it works fine from there on just as though it had been manually invoked. However, there is no line by line tracing going on.
If I put the parameters used by ISAPI, Abyss starts up and the request times out.
Am I missing out on something. Does Abyss have its own parameters? |

Am I the only person who is trying to use Abyss web server for testing as well as production? |

I feel that there is no wish to reply to my rather simple question (I would have thought) |

Bibo,
It is regrettable that you have not received any replies to your query. I feel that there are not many people
on this forum that develop in Delphi. An alternative is to contact Aprelium at support@aprelium.com.
Hopefully, they will give you an answer in a timely manner. |

Thank you Moxxnixx
I wrote to support@aprelium.com and got a helpful reply right away.
The correct parameter is --slave
Also, one should not expect the blue icon to appear in the system tray. One should press F9 in Delphi and the breakpoints will be respected.
It works just as it should.
Thank you support!!! |
