|
|
Hello,
I am now working on my (DOS based) CGI Application with Abyss 1.1RC1
and everything is working fine at this time. Really happy that some changes in the beta were made after some requests from me, :D , thanks.
I do have a question though, I am converting a large application with lot's of data entry and have found that there is a maximum number of CGI Fields: it does not seem to accept more than 24 FIELDS, is this correct? or is this a setting I can change?
Thanks in advance for a reply.
Kind regards,
Pepijn. |

There is no such a limit in Abyss Web Server but you must be aware that some browsers have limits on the number of fields they can handle (or on the quantity of information they can send as a form input).
It may also be your CGI application which do not read enough input coming from the form (do you read a fixed amout of data from stdin for example in your DOS app ?). If you suspect the latter case, you can send us an example of a form and a CGI DOS app you use to test it. If possible, send us the CGI reading code so that we can advice you if you notice something wrong (send all this to support@aprelium.com) _________________ Support Team
