Fresh install of WinXP Pro.
Fresh install of Abyss X1.
Cannot access webserver via localhost (gets 500 error in IE)
Can access server from other computers on my network & via the Internet.
No firewalls installed.
Ideas?
I would think this problem would be reversed if anything, not being able to access it from "outside" and not from "inside".
So odd. |

Not that I know of.
Like I stated above, fresh install of Abyss. So unless it's in the default settings, no. |

Try using your LAN IP to access your computer locally. You can get this IP by running in a command window (DOS box) the command:
A user reported a similar problem in the past to our tech support and said that he was able to solve it by disabling WINS resolution:
