Here is my setup
I want to run Abyss web server on the computer mentioned above by using the above connection without using a router. how do i do this? |

Nobody else can get on my site ecceptme and the other users in my network, I've set all settings on my router so I could get on my site.
Like this:
Router 192.168.2.100
At No-ip are the settings the same, No-ip makes from my IP-number an URL. 192.168.2.100:8080 => http://picture008.no-ip.info
And then in Dot.tk I make my long Url into a small, unable-to-forget-url
http://picture008.no-ip.info => http://www.picture008.tk
!AND STILL NOBODY CAN GET ON MY SITE ECCEPT ME AND TE OTHER USERS IN MY NETWORK! |

This is because 192.168.2.100 is a local LAN address that cannot ever be reached from the internet. By going to www.picture.008.tk, I get a 404 pointing to :
Domain: 192.168.2.100
Page: http://192.168.2.100:8080/
Which is unreachable.
Set no-ip to use the WAN ip of the router.

no-ip.com <--- Your issue may be here m8, try www.dyndns.org instead, far better, faster and reliable at IP tracking even on a LAN behind a firewall and any other crap you want to throw at them, no-ip.com cant detect owt for toffee. |
