I am pretty much new at CGI and I just downloaded some CGI files and wanted to know if I created a new folder in the CGI bin directory and put the files in there, would it still work? For Instance, C:\Program Files\Abyss Web Server\cgi-bin\voting both\(then all my files here for the voting both) or do they have to be exactly in the cgi bin. Sorry for it being confusing. Thank you |

It does not matter where you put them. In the Abyss CGI configuration, there are things called "CGI Paths." They are by default set up such as "/*.cgi," meaning a .cgi file in any directory in your root or above directory will work.
If you haven't changed anything, then you can not only put a CGI file in your CGI-BIN directory, but anywhere in your \htdocs folder. _________________ Bienvenidos! |
