This tutorial worked for me. I'm running XP Home and a D-Link DI-614+. Although it's a wireless router, my main workstation is connected via RJ-45; my wife's XP laptop is connected wirelessly. She can view my site w/o problem.
That turorial and the follow-on support helped me quite a bit. I have a pretty solid hardware background, but the whole networking thing is still very new to me. If I can understand it, anyone can!! (not just saying that, I'm about as patient as a bull in a china shop and thanks to that thread, I am now able to host my own site) |
