Hi,
Anyone can teach me how can i share my file to my friend using Abyss web server. Do i need to download a CGI?. im a newbie here. and How can I setup the script for download PLEASE HELP me.......thanks

You can easily let your friend download from you
by putting your files in your htdocs folder located
in your C:\Program Files\Abyss Web Server\ and
add all your files in a empty folder and they will
be listed so your friend can download them. 8)

Link to that download folder by using
http://xx.xx.xxx.xxx:port#/

where the xx 's is your IP number and the port#
is your website port , example http://xx.xx.xxx.xxx:85/

If your website is on port 80 , you don't need a port at the end.

May I note that the majority of files will be handled with Abyss and not offered up to download. If you want to purposfully make a file download, I believe you can just remove the MIME type in the Abyss Console.
