Hey all (again).
I ran Abyss X1 and later X2 up until about 4 years ago when i went to Ubuntu with a LAMP install. Long story short my web server crashed and I stuffed about trying to get Ubuntu back on and everything configured. Worked all weekend and got about 50-60% done.
Finally last night I decided to go back to Abyss X2 and 2 hours after installing XP it's about 90% back up (thank goodness for daily backups).
The setup for Abyss + PHP is so darn easy it really is almost laughable.
Why oh why did I go to the dark side but I'm back :) _________________ mg66

Hi mg66,
Welcome back. We're glad to read that you're using Abyss Web Server again and that getting everything set up and running was not too complex.
FYI, Abyss Web Server for Linux runs great on Ubuntu and is not as complex as the "dark side's software". It is similar and very close to the Windows version. So in case, you want to switch back to Ubuntu without LAMP, we can help. _________________ Follow @abyssws on Twitter

I can confirm that, just got it going two days ago on my Ubuntu 11.04 box with Aprelium's help on one detail. _________________ Red Lion
