Now I know what the problem and, surprise surprise, Firefox doesn't display it properly! No surprise to me anyway - i find FF too picky :- (
--
Problem: #content DIV's background not being repeat
Cause: Firefox doesn't think there is anything in the #content DIV because what is in there uses the CSS code float: left; on two DIVs in order to create two (2) columns on my page.
Resolution: Mmm.. Any ideas wonderful community of Aprelium? :- )
Regards, Tom |

I always find coding for firefox then fixing for IE works better than the other way around. Maybe you should try that. (Remember web design is my job, I have to find out these things!) _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

I know where you're coming from see as though usually they display the way I want them to in FF rather than IE haha but anyway these days I have both browsers open and every time I make a change, I refresh both.
I deducted a while ago from my awesome assumptions that two different browsers are going to interpret your code differently and therefore, they're going to want to display their own interpretations of your code and it isn't always your own interpretation... GRRRRRR!!
Now here's the catch:
I got my code for columns here: http://csstinderbox.raykonline.com/demos/fixed-3c/index.html
From: http://csstinderbox.raykonline.com/?page_id=12
Because my code just went all shngcfdgfck on me.
The demos FINE in Firefox but my template WHICH I HOPE to be payed for isn't. Oh the pain Andy, feel my pain?
P. S. You really were away earlier ;P |
