|

Ok, I'm a little new at this, so I apologize if this is a stupid question.
I installed abyss and PHP following the directions in the manual. It works fine as long as my PHP scripts are in the root dir of my webserver. For instance http://ip_here/info.php works just fine but http://ip_here/x/info.php does not, it brings up a save/open dialog box.
What am I doing wrong here?

Ok, I've messed with it some more now, and now I'm getting really mixed results. Some PHP files it will parse just fine. Others it will bring up Open/Save box and others it will show the source code. |

To me I think you're downloading it because php itself is maybe not setup correctly... Double check your php installation and just make sure you have index.php, REDIRECT_STATUS - 200, Interpreter path...
Just double check against this page that you're setup is correct... http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/php.html
Good luck
Let us know if you solved the problem cool? Thanks :)
PS. You can also try adding info.php to your set of index files (though its just an idea)... Try it again then delete it whether it works or not... _________________ Victor B. Gonzalez

Got it working now. Thanks for your help. I unistalled PHP and reinstalled this time using the CGI only EXE installer instead of the zip. Followed the steps in the manual and it worked. Not sure if that had anything to do with it, or if I was just overlooking something the time before.
:D Thanks again |
