Everything works perfectly when using localhost (and port number).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |
The problem was solved by email. We share below our answer as it may be useful to others:
Quote: | You have configured your unique host in the console to be associated with the host name "localhost" only.
So it will only respond to requests containing that exact host name and return error 403 otherwise.
If you plan to reach your host using many possible names or even IP addresses, it is recommended to not set any host name. When the host names table is empty, the host will be shown as "Default host on port 80" and it will reply to all requests on port 80 with no host name restrictions.
To do so, open the console, select "Configure" in the "Hosts" table, select "General", then in the "Host names" table, click on the "trashcan" icon next to the "localhost" line. Confirm the deletion and restart Abyss Web Server. |
