|

Can I use IIS's interpreter in any way with Abyss Web Server?
I've found the asp.dll file, and declared it as the interpreter, but like with most .dll files, it seems not to work with any but the program it was built with...
Of course, I'm not exactly an expert on that.
So again, my question is can I use Microsoft IIS's asp interpreter to run asp on my server? _________________ My signature is so lame.

Hi Flux,
Microsoft program's their ASP DLL's so that it only works with IIS. You can still
use Abyss Web Server's native ASP.NET support. ASP.NET is the most popular
version of ASP now, and it is recommended over the classic.

Flux,
You can't use IIS ASP.dll since it has been specifically written for IIS and won't work if IIS is not installed and not invoking that DLL. _________________ Support Team

Ok, thanks. I think I'll have to look around for some tutorials on that then... _________________ My signature is so lame.
