I know this may seem like a stupid question and I don't mean any dis-respect to Aprelium! But if you wanted to serve asp.net pages, is there a way of running Microsoft IIS ASWELL AS Abyss Web Server on the same computer? Just for running asp.net pages as Abyss cannot run asp.net pages at the moment and Microsoft IIS can.
Please Please do NOT take this as a sign of me moving over to IIS because I'm NOT, this is simply just a suggestion of maybe how to run asp.net pages on our web servers using Abyss Web Server!
Thank You! _________________ Please SEARCH the forums BEFORE asking questions! |

There's nothing stopping you running as many different webservers as you want on your PC, the only proviso is that you will have to run them on different ports and link between your sites that way. Things might start to get a bit confusing if you have a large site but there's certainly no particular reason why you couldn't use this method.
For example, Abyss running on port 80, Apache on port 81 and IIS on port 82. Then, on your Abyss site using a hardlink to the IIS site - http://mysite.com:82/mypage.asp |
