Also, for anyone who wants to add a portal type system check out PHP Nuke. _________________ ---

I like Postnuke too. It's a cleaner, more streamlined look, and besides - PostNuke has much better documentation and administration features.
Anybody here got PHPNuke or PostNuke up and running on their Abyss Web Server? I'd sure love to take a peek! |

Tried to get post-nuke to work but for some reason I get
Undefined variable: _SESSION
and
Undefined variable: _GLOBALS
I get these along the top of the window when I try to install it, It manages to get though the install process but loads of other errors pop-up along side those two. What am I doing wrong? I managed to get php2bb to work straight away no problem and phpmyadmin works a treat as well. |

Quote: | These warnings are as a result of php's error reporting setting. Change this setting in php.ini from error_reporting = E_ALL to error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE and these will go away |
After I did this it worked fine :D [/quote] _________________ Super smashing grand. |
