I have Golden FTP right now, its working fine thank you guys.

Somewhere within the config of abyss there is a port, and an auto assign button, I set the port to my open port... but I uninstalled and it worked so what I'm asking is how to set the port.

No see I had it working, then i changed the port to the one I had open, all of a sudden I couldn't access Abyss from the Internet... Its complicated to explain basicly I want to know how to set it to ...

Ah I get it, never did much work with FTP... makes enough sense I'll work on it tonight thanks.

But will that allow my friend to edit his website, and get it so abyss will pick it up and change all needed factors, also is there a way to get a free version i can put a password on?

I was wondering if there was a way to make it so others can edit html files and reinsert them into the abyss file it would normaly load off of. I'm getting a server somputer and plan on running mine ...
