Anyone else use freedns?
They confuse me. They say that they give you a free domain, then change it to you have to pay for the domain and we offer servers that transfer users from domain to your computer...
Anyone feel like clarifying?
And if they DO give free domain names, (which I'm beginning to doubt), and say that it's "broken" (Not affiliated with any servers that will transfer the client to your site), does anyone know how to fix that? _________________ My signature is so lame.

I've never used them, but if they do offer free 'domains' it'll probably be something along the lines of yourname.freedns.com _________________ Yarrt.com - Free Arcade

I've never used this service either. The site is http://freedns.afraid.org/. You want to set up a subdomain, not a domain. That might have caused your problem.
From their homepage:
FreeDNS wrote: | Access your computer with a name (like zeus.afraid.org or yourdomain.com) instead of a numeric IP address |
PS They don't give you a domain free of charge. If you've registered a domain with a registrar online, you can point the domain to your IP address with FreeDNS. The free service is mapping a domain or subdomain to your IP address. _________________ Stephen
