htaccess is it posible in abyss

I think htaccess is apache only. You can, however, set up password protected directories using the abyss console. Set up a new user in users and groups, goto access control, enter the path to the protected folder (relative to htdocs, so abyss/htdocs/protected would need the path /protected) and tick the boxes for the users you want to allow access to.
