Override,

Thanks for the contribution.

Since no one has ever requested a CHM file, we have not generated the documentation in that format. But we will made it available ASAP if there are users asking for it (even a few).

I don't think we need a CHM file, but it would be useful to put on the website
anyway. CHM files can get pretty big in file size. Your CHM file if added to the
package of Abyss Web Server could make it past 500 KB in size.

I think it would be best to stick with the standard HTML pages for the sake
of Abyss Web Server's file size.

The "Mac OS X" version is 460 KB, which is the version I use for my server. Maybe
I should have been more specific, sorry.

My point is that Aprelium likes to keep the package as small as possible. The
standard HTML files helps make the file size small.

The Mac OS X version is larger because the executables size on PowerPC platforms are usually larger than on their Intel counterparts. Things will be worser with the Universal binary release which will contain two executables (one for old PowerPC Macs and one for the new Intel-based Macs).

CHM won't be integrated in the package because we still need the HTML version (for those who seek help from the console directly) but it could be made available as a separate download on our documentation page (as we do for PDF).

Nice work, Override.
I like the idea of the CHM file as a separate download.
The benefit is having the table of contents visible all the time. It makes navigation much easier. This could also be accomplished using frames in HTML, but the tree should be collapse-able.
Another benefit is having search capabilities.
