I am getting the following error in the Fastcgi.log:
Quote: | 21/Sep/2006:08:20:10 +1000 SUID: 1 PUID: 1 RUID: 0 URI: Reading 56 bytes failed = The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process |
This is the only error I get and is consistent. Anyone have any ideas as to what it is indicating? It would appear to be denying access to a file already in use but gives no indication of what the file is. _________________ Cheers.... Kev

kev1952,
This "file" is actually the pipe that is being used to communicate between the FastCGI process and Abyss Web Server.
What is your operating system?
If this error occurs, try using CGI/ISAPI instead of FastCGI. _________________ Support Team

Could you please use the Handle utility to let us have a detailed idea on what is running on your system:
* Download http://download.sysinternals.com/Files/Handle.zip
* Unzip it in a directory of your choice on your hard drive (for example C:\handle ).
* Open a command line window (Start > Run > then type cmd and hit return)
* execute:
* execute
Code: | handle -a > handles.txt |
* Send to support@aprelium.com the file C:\handles\handles.txt with a reference to this forum post.
Thank you in advance. _________________ Support Team

kev1952,
Thank you for the file. It will certainly help us understand why FastCGI is failing on your system. We'll keep you updated about our progress. _________________ Support Team

Good one - it might explain why the system has been randomly refusing connections and not doing so again until I shut down and then restart the server. _________________ Cheers.... Kev

kev1952,
Interesting. Was the handles.txt file generated when FastCGI was failing with the error reported in the first post? _________________ Support Team
