cannot connect to host, Access is denied!

Ok i know iv typed in all the corect stuff, im trying to connect to a mysql DB on another PC (on my network) iv typed in its local IP, and the external ip (i have forwarded the port for mysql) after chcking whats wrong i get something like "Cannot connect to mysql on remote host, Access is denied!" so im asking how do i allow access to remote hosts on my network?

did you enable that feature while installing mysql and if so did you enter the root password

You have to make an account for the server in MySQL using the computer's network name or IP address .. i forget which one. I had to do this with my servers. Google "MySQL user privileges" it and see what u come up with.

Using MySQLAdmin or PHPMyAdmin, find the username you want to connect with and change the host from "Localhost" to "%" which means any host. Save settings and try again.
