I recently unplugged my home network due to a house party. Ever since I have set it back up again. I can not use the network in other parts of the house with our the main computer on.
Basically I can't get on the internet on any other computer on the network unless the main computer is on. The router I am using it the LINKSYS WRT54GS.
I never used to have a problem with this, can some let me know what could be wrong.
Thanks |

This happens to me sometimes (after a storm if the power goes out ECT...)
well heres the basic restart thing:
1. Plug all PCs to be connected into the router/hub(s)
2. Unplug the router/hub(s) and cable or DSL modem (power plug)
3. Count 30-45 seconds
4. Plug the router/hubs(s) back in (power plug)
5. Wait 5 more second
6. Plug the cable/DSL modem back in (power plug)
7. Wait APROX. 10-20 seconds for aquasicion of signal
8. Once all the lights stop blinking (depending on the router/modem/hub(s)) try to access the internet
That should make it work. _________________ Where have i been? School got heck-tick, had to move half way around the state, then back... and then i had to change jobs, so iv been away for a while :P |
