goto : start | control panel | network connections
then find the network connection you're using (if more than one; e.g. internal networks, virtual machines etc)
View properties, then check the Advanced tab.
If the Internet Connection Firewall check is unchecked, you should have no trouble with it.
If the Internet Connection Firewall check is checked, you could click Settings.
Then find Web Server (HTTP) in the list and see if it's checked. if so, click Edit, and verify the external portnumber is the same as you're using with Abyss (not recommended)
Try adding a new Service, called "My_abyss_webserver" (or something like that) and enter your external IP address, the portnumber you've set Abyss to serve and the protocol you're using (typically TCP)
Click OK a couple of times, and things should be juuuust fine :) _________________ "hmm, that's odd" |
