I used to have a webhosting buisness, MaDmAnHosting, and it was up for about a year, but I discontinued it. I didn't use abyss for that though...I didn't know about Abyss untill well after I set it up. I started it with Small HTTP Server, but it wasn't really that good, and it didn't handle PHP and MySQL too well. I used a few other server programs, but none seemed really good to run on WinXP Home. If I had professional, I would be using IIS, but, don't have the money to get that.

Anyways, to get back on topic, I currently host a website and forum for my waay extended family. We recently went on a family reunion, and we used the forum to communicate. I just got rid of it and im currently wondering what im goin to do with the server now.

If you made backups of your forum, you can upload the backup and use it. You
can also work on a website for your family and host it on Abyss.
