How do you create cabinet [.cab] files in windows xp?? I need to create one for a setup program for my company's software?
Is there a special application required???

Most free compression programs will create one for you if you want to use a GUI, or you should find that typing MAKECAB /? on the command line will give you details of how to do it with one of Windows built in tools.

However, if you're using some kind of software to create an installer, it should be doing the CAB file for you. I've never come across any that require you to create your own... _________________
