Hi.

I've just installed and configured the webserver on a WinXP machine. I'm using PHP + MySQL, and everything runs smoothly except for a problem when submiting POST forms: they just don't seem to work!!!. When a FORM with method="POST" is submited, nothing happens - I guess the target page doesn't receive the submited data (by the way, IIS works fine in the same machine and with the same forms).

Maybe it's something in the webserver configuration, but I can't figure it out.

Anyway, this is a great product!!! Keep on the good work.

what happens? does the the page not unload or do you get a file not found error. could you be a bit more precise. if you get a "error 200" or whatever, that means the form has worked hope that can be a bit helpful

OK, I will try to be more precise:

I'm triying to run a PHP script for a shopping cart. The page with the trouble form is one of the product detailed info, and after pressing the "add to cart" button the product code is sent via "method=POST" to the target page (the "your cart contains" page).

The target page does load, but with an application error message meaning "the product code you are triying to add to the cart doesn't exist". So the HTTP_POST_VARS array is not populated - i.e. the target page is not receiving the POSTed variables.

I've tested the same script with IIS and everything works fine.

Are using PHP 4.2.0 ? if so, read the post at http://www.aprelium.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=85 .

Thanks for the idea, but under IIS it runs without problems. Also, I failed to mention that the same script runs OK under BadBlue, too.

By the way, the PHP version is 4.0.6

Can you tell us where to find that script to test it ?
