This is the new template I have been working on and I would like everyones feedback on it. This may not be the final design but I will continue to work at it.

I like the new design. The color change is a nice improvement. Personally, I would like the links to be the same font size in the navigation pane on the left from your "old" site.
Not all the images work though (images from the "images" folder). Example: http://new.abyssunderground.co.uk/images/downloads.gif
BTW, is your blog discontinued?

I have to be honest.... I don't like the new design as much as the "old" one!
It just seems bare for some reason even though the content is the same!?

The page stops half way across my screen, making the page look more empty than it really is. Also, the latest news, and things most recently added have colour schemes that don't match the rest of the page style.

I havent finished it yet so the news part is currently unchanged. It stops half way across because its designed for 1024x768, just like all of my sites. Its difficult to make it for higher because auto expanding is difficult IMO.
I could change the text size of the nav bar, thats easy.
I havent entered anything in the blog for a long time, so yes, its discontinued.
So far 2 people have voted NO and none have voted YES.

Its brighter than your one at the moment, I found the one you are using dark.
I don’t like the top heading its boring and lifeless but its better overall. |

i can see that your template has become easier on the eyes but, as phirez has pointed, it may have lost its "underground" feel. although unsolicited, maybe you can make the gray area black while bringing those text against it white and see how that works out.
one thing for sure is that it has become easier on the eyes especially for an "old" pair like mine.
