Ive set up a host @ http://b2b.pro.vg the main site loads and works fine. But then when i make another folder inside the webroot, and go to the index page of that sub-folder i get this page "No input file specified."

So http://b2b.pro.vg works fine
http://b2b.pro.vg/server-status gives me "No input file specified."

Its doing this with every subfolder.

Please help me

LOL! You must be in a good mood. I was expecting something a litte harsher towards this kat.
First, his url went to an Xitami server installation. Then, it went to an Apache server installation.
Now, it's going to an old 2.0.0.20 Abyss X2 installation. Possibly, the pirated "James Dean" version.

Speaking of pirated software, Aprelium should include some sorf of hash of the reg-key in the header. In that way, it would be easy to check who is running a legal copy and who is not, without having the key available to others.

I sent in a similar idea a week ago about the issue. I believe a header would
cause problems because of the Virtual Hosting feature. How would you be able
to tell if the copy is being shared?

The only way I see it, is to compare two different Servers.

Since I also got the pirated version, I could make a hash of the key myself and check if the server is running a legal version or not.

And yes, I'm running the latest, legal version.

Another suggestion would be to add a "call back" function to Abyss.
If they went live with the server, it would call back to Aprelium and
send/retrieve the key.

That is, until some group releases a cr@ck for it.

Thank you all for your suggestions.

Having the software phone back home is usually not a good idea because it can cause a lot of legal problems (and could even make honest customers' life harder). Only MS, Adobe and some other big names can impose it to their users right now.

I suggested this to Josh but he said the same as Aprelium did. It would only be a viable option if they had multiple redundant servers and another way of activating it.

What could be done is if you do not activate it or cannot activate it, it will simply run as the X1 version until you try again and are able to access the server. Although its still calling home so its a legal problems and connection problems to be the worst offenders for this suggestion.

Im sure something can be worked out. Ill keep thinking of a way.
