I think Aprelium needs this one. A much nicer look to it. |

Ok, but I didn't really know that, I hardly pay attention to the updates on
that forum now. It looks very interesting. I think I will have a look at it. :-)

We'll test PhpBB when it will be declared stable. But if it is still the same as PhpBB 2, we'll be tempted to switch to another alternative as the current version is really very difficult to use when you have a large number of forum users (and it is also a real nightmare to update if you upgrade from version to version espcially when you have customized templates). _________________ Support Team

i switched from phpbb to mybb and i find it alot more easier to create a new theme plus upgrading is easy too, just download the files and overwite the old ones... simle as. although you have to use phpmyadmin to save and reinstall a database but hopefully they will make something like what phpbb have so you can do it via admin CP
i've fallen in love with mybb :-) www.jibba-jabba.net/mybb _________________ http://www.jibba-jabba.net | http://www.mosthauntedforum.com |

Thank you for recommending MyBB. We're also testing PunBB and it seems to work fine until now (+it seems possible to move PhpBB data and posts to PunBB using a conversion script so nothing will be lost). _________________ Support Team

Although VBulletin is about as advanced as it gets, I don't like it all that much.
I prefer phpBB or IPB, but punBB has caught my attention recently too. _________________

mybb have a converter for phpbb forums but its old so would only work with older versions of mybb. You would then just have to update the software.. abit annoying tho so hopefully someone makes a new converter for the current versions. I'm not sure about punbb it looks kind off plain to me but which ever software you use everyone will still be here because Abyss Rocks :-) _________________ http://www.jibba-jabba.net | http://www.mosthauntedforum.com |

There is a PunBB style sheet that makes it look very close to PhpBB. So we'll probably use it (if we decide to switch) to make the change less noticeable.
Thanks. _________________ Support Team
