I found an awesome script that allows create dir file uploading file delete so on and on pretty much ftp but through your browser via cgi...
the only problem I have is when I try to password protect a dir. it sets it up in a .htaccess file and a dir.pass file where the .htaccess points to the dir.pass file with the password and username
( abyss seems it does not understand that this script uses .htaccess? )
how can I fix abyss to work by .htaccess on top of the abyss.conf file?
I tried to get the script to use the abyss.conf file but it doesnt work because the script auto creates the files and obviously that could be an issue to the abyss.conf file...lol
Kent.
here is a sample of the script

As said in many places before, .htaccess files are Apache way of configuring access restrictions and they aren't usuable on Abyss Web Server which have its own method of configuring those restrictions. So either hack the script or try using another which isn't dedicated to Apache. _________________ Support Team
