hey guys, this happens quite often too me. when i boot my serevr up, i can access my site no problems at all. after a few hours i can no longer access it. im just woundering if its a loopback issue? surely if my router doesnt support loopback i could never access my site??
this problem is only at my end, other people can view my site no problem.
just to note. i can see my site via localhost. its just at the dns end |

If you can normally access your site using your DNS name or internet IP (not 127.0.0.1) then it isn't a loopback issue.
Is your IP static or dynamic?
Have you tried connecting with your internet IP instead of DNS name when you are having issues? _________________

Sounds like you have a DNS caching issue - your machine is remembering how the DNS name resolved before your IP changed. I could be wrong, but next time you have issues, check if your IP has changed. If it has, open a cmd prompt and do "nslookup yoursitename.no-ip.com" - check if the result resolves to your IP. If it does, do "ipconfig /flushdns" then close all open browser windows, re-open and try to access your site by DNS name again. _________________
