Hi,
I've currently making a few websites, so things are going slowly ...
But, I do have my own server, and it's running the wonderfull Abyss Web Server X2!
All I can say is congratulations for making such a great piece of software!

As I mentioned, it's stull under construction, and I have alot left to do.
It also hosts my teams site, and my forum, along with a few other websites!

Very nice! Nice template and loads fast (about 2 seconds on 2Mbps NTL Broadband, UK).

It's hosted with Abyss X2, running on an Athlon XP 3000+ with 1 Gb ram.
Internet is 8 Mb down, 1 Mb up, with a Netgear router.
Bandwidth is shared between all the sites on the server ...
It works well enough, but I do wish I could have faster upload .... :-(

1Mbps up is 4x faster than mine, you should praise that you have that much. In the UK we only have a maximum of 512Kbps with well known ISP's.
Id do anything for 1Mbps or more. NTL are upgrading to 10Mbps Down/1Mbps Up by the end of next year so I can only wait until then.

Yea, even when ADSL2+ comes here, it'll still only be 18Mb / 1 Mb ...
Why are ISP's so stingy on upload?
Then again, I could get SDSL ... 4Mb down and 4Mb up ...
But, that costs in excess of 360 euros a month, which is just stupid ... !!!!

ISP's dont give you so much upload because you use the download more than upload (well, generally). If they give everyone more upload then 98% of people would have a crap connection (we wouldnt, wed love it, 512Kbps down for me is enough).
As Download speed goes up, so does the Upload to keep everything working.
