| depending on the type of connection you have, you might be able to set up your connection on your computer, and do a passthrough on your modem. I just installed XP and created a new connection that is in startup. completly bypasses my modem, and sends the external ip to my computer. xp automaticaly configured the fire wall for that port as well so it should be pretty secure. |
