| Hi I am a newcomer , I do not a thing about using server. I want to make a forum using PHPBB. Although I tried my best to read everything about installing PHP on the server and doing things, but it is not working. so could any1 plz tell me a detalied guide on how to install mysql and phpBB and make a forum, any help will be much apppreciated. |

You could start by paying enough attention to the layout of the forum to post in the right section, if you claim you've read everything.
Try detailing your exact problem instead of asking someone to hold your hand for you. How far have you got? Is Abyss working? Is your site accessible from the internet? What version of PHP did you try to install? You need to explain your problem before expecting others to do all the work and solve it for you.
http://www.trustabyss.com/ may be more helpful, if you find pictures easier to understand than bothering to read instructions. |

I have successfully installed php enabling and i get this page for installation of PHPBB but the only problem is that I do not know how to do the MYSQL stuff, Whenever I chose the option it does not work. Here is the pic

thanx to both of u my forum is successfully installed, the only problem I have now is to how to install mod. Any suggestion will be much appreciated. |
