Check your host, user, and pass for the db. And make sure privileges are set for the user. _________________ int main() {

macmee,
The web server doesn't matter when you have a problem with MySQL. Abyss or Apache never connect directly to MySQL. It is your PHP script which does this connection. So if there is a problem, it should be in your PHP configuration.
Do you have error message or something that can help us understand the problem? "Doesn't work" is vague and doesn't give us any clue about the issue?
If you have installed a new version of MySQL (>=4.1), then the problem comes from PHP 4 which doesn' support these newer versions. We recommend in this case to install PHP 5 as explained in http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/php5win.html .
Now let's move to DNS. Domain names are usually registered if they are top level (such as www.mysite.com ) or they can be free if they are second level such as mysite.dyndns.com .
There are thousands of company that register domain names. There are also many that can give you a second level domain for free such as http://www.no-ip.com or http://www.dyndns.org . _________________ Support Team

Can you please let us know what this "it" refer to? We cannot really provide any help if you do not explain what's going wrong. We cannot guess what's occurring on your computer... _________________ Support Team
