Hi all,
I got finally my Abyss Webserver running on my server thanks to TRUSTpunk!
Now i got another question.
Yesterday i chenged the directory location from C:/program files/abyss too Z:/Abyss/....
When i restarted the abyss-program i got some errors: " couldn't find CGI" or something?
So do i have to move some files to Z:/ [ Z:/ is another HD in my PC ]
Or do i have to reinstall the program on the Z:/ disk ?
Thanks for answering.

you could just uninstall abyss from C:\ and run setup again in Z:\
when i moved mine to D:\ i just selected all the folders and logFile and CGIlogFile in C:\Program Files\Abyss\ and i copyed them to D:\www\ then i opened up my console and changed path to D:\www\ and folder=htdocs...
if you decide to reinstall your abyss you will have to reconfigure any PHP or other stuff like CGI/Perl that you have installed...
hope that helps, _________________ O da da da, <?php |

zedd,
You should enter in Abyss console and change all references to C: to Z:. Do not forget to create a log/ subdirectory in the new directory where abyssws.exe is located. _________________ Support Team

I helped Zedd on my MSN Messenger and it seemed that all he wanted to do
was use Z:\ as his website path and the rest left alone , I told Zedd to use Z:\
as the Documents Path and it seem to fix the problem so this is now solved. |
