127.0.0.1 and console not displaying (asp pages).

Tried changing the console port, but still doesn't work. Not working via proxy(even checked settings). It was working, now it's not.
Using AHTML + Abyss 1.2.3.0
Tried using localhost and 127.0.0.1 to display both console and site but not working.

Any more information needed?

Any ideas?

Cannot find server

The page cannot be displayed

The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.

Please try the following:

Click the Refresh button, or try again later.

If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.

To check your connection settings, click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Connections tab, click Settings. The settings should match those provided by your local area network (LAN) administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).
See if your Internet connection settings are being detected. You can set Microsoft Windows to examine your network and automatically discover network connection settings (if your network administrator has enabled this setting).
Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options.
On the Connections tab, click LAN Settings.
Select Automatically detect settings, and then click OK.
Some sites require 128-bit connection security. Click the Help menu and then click About Internet Explorer to determine what strength security you have installed.
If you are trying to reach a secure site, make sure your Security settings can support it. Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Advanced tab, scroll to the Security section and check settings for SSL 2.0, SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0, PCT 1.0.
Click the Back button to try another link.

in the Abyss Server window do you get any error messages?
such as wrote:
Cannot listen to the console port

if you don't try:
disabling your proxy server (if set). does this make any difference?
    reinstalling Abyss

have you got a firewall running? this might be blocking connections to Abyss. adjust it's rules so that your browser can connect to Abyss.

if this doesn't work your configuration file might be corrupt. try deleting it (backup first!!) and then running Abyss does this allow you to connect (you will need to reconfig your setup).

I've got the exact same problem. Browser can't find http://127.0.0.1/ or localhost. No proxy. Firewall disabled. Win XP with IE6. Not happy.

Make sure that the server is set to port 80 and if its not set to port 80 , use
http://localhost:port# amd you should see your website , basicly if your site
is not set to port 80 , you have to add the port at the end of the URL.

Port 80 is in use and any other port I use produces the same result:

The page cannot be displayed -- HTTP 500 - Internal server error

this means that Abyss is receiving the request however a misconfig, or scripting error prevents it from delivering the requested content.

it's more likely that something has been misconfiged.
