hi everyone ,
I have ran across the same old problem that everyone else seems to get with asp. I have followed all the directions that i could find in this forum and still can not view a .asp page .is it possible that i have missed some common file that everyone else has or something .before anyone asks, yes i do have activehtml installed (uninstalled IIS so there was no conflicts). I have an active html page running and have viewed it from a comp on my network and also had my brother access it from his house over the net so i am sure the server is working fine
currently running xp pro with sp2 installed
could sp2 be the problem?
I really must say that this is by far the most easiest and simplest web server to get up and running |

I saw someone using ActiveHTML on Service Pack 2 and it did not work so that could be
the problem , try one last time and follow the directions carefully , hope it works. |

it does work for sp2.
Just make sure you install it right. It not easy to install you know. _________________

I can`t run asp files too. Php works, but when I`m trying go on *.asp it reports error 404 - file nor found. I`m running it on XP with SP1. So it shouldn`t be a problem with SP2. I have installed and unistalled IIS too. That is common and it should be a problem. |
