I have tried to get my server to work for like a week and cant get it to work. I have Verizon Model 2200 and my ip address http://151.196.32.33:81 doesn't work!!!
I changed the port cause verizon blocks 80. So i dont know what to do. I have windows XP Home!
Here is my setup:
COMPUTER<--- connected to ---> Verizon Model 2200<-- connect to -->Phone line.
Please help. i downloaded juno free service and tried accessing my server from there and it worked! So whats up with verizon? Please tell me if you know what the problem is!

ok thanks!!! I guess i cant access it through the ipaddress but you guys can. Thanks!
Does anyone know any windows hosting control panel? (good ones).
All i know is zpanel!

Their was a topic on this a few weeks ago and the Controle Panel was called
Xpanel but now their starting to charge money for it , I should have got it :( |

That was me :]
and yes sadly, they wanted to make money, PLESK will also work on windows but!! its not free either, so, zpanel, or BEG Trust to MAKE ONE.
*coughs*
oh, and i had the same problem mike, I got a login screen.. it was funny, it was solved, when I got a router, and placed the site on a dedicated server on the network. :]
