I have set up the php in the abyss webserver and I am trying to use a standard PHP function ftp_ssl_connect() ... when I run the page, I get an error "Call to undefined function ftp_ssl_connect()..." but this is a standard function in the PHP library as defined by
http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.ftp-ssl-connect.php
How do I enable this functionality in the PHP library?
the fact that it is reading the php and giving me an error message tells me that the "regular" php commands are being understood... so PHP must be working on the webserver... just not all php commands???
thanks,
Thom |

Dear Thomas,
Obviously, the Open SSL extension is not enabled in your PHP installation.
In order to do this, you can follow the tutorial on our website
<http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/php5win.html>.
Please go directly to the "Notes about php.ini" section and apply the
instructions about enabling other extensions:
* open with a text editor your PHP initialization file "php.ini" (in your PHP installation directory).
* Locate the line “;extension=php_openssl.dll” and uncomment it (by removing the ";").
* Save the file and restart Abyss Web Server to ensure that PHP is reloaded with the new configuration.
We'll be waiting for your feedback. _________________ Support Team
