I searched for this topic before posting, but got no relevant returns, so hopefully this hasn't been addressed yet.
I'm freshly installing Abyss X1 and PHP 5.01 at the moment. I understand the basic CGI configuration, and have successfully run Abyss with PHP 4.* installations. But I'm looking through the installation document in the .zip distribution (manual install for Windows), and have come across a section detailing the included modules and their compatability. So, I am wondering if Abyss fits neatly enough into any of these categories to run the module rather than the CGI. This is the section from the document that I believe is relevant:

Here is a list of server modules shipped with PHP 4 and PHP 5:
* sapi/php4activescript.dll (php5activescript.dll) - ActiveScript
engine, allowing you to embed PHP in your Windows applications.
* sapi/php4apache.dll (php5apache.dll) - Apache 1.3.x module.
* sapi/php4apache2.dll (php5apache2.dll) - Apache 2.0.x module.
* sapi/php4isapi.dll (php5isapi.dll) - ISAPI Module for ISAPI
compliant web servers like IIS 4.0/PWS 4.0 or newer.
* sapi/php4nsapi.dll (php5nsapi.dll) - Sun/iPlanet/Netscape server
module.
* sapi/php4pi3web.dll (no equivalent in PHP 5) - Pi3Web server
module.

Specifically, I wondered if it might be ISAPI compliant, or possibly capable of using Apache-based modules...or maybe at least able to incorporate ActiveScript. Anyone know?
I don't recall seeing anything in the configuration interface about modules, so I'm guessing it's not possible yet. _________________ #8^)> |

Upon further inspection, it looks like ISAPI support is now in beta testing. _________________ #8^)> |

It is indeed. ISAPI support is going to be a new feature in version 2.0. _________________ Bienvenidos! |
