Payment processing moved to MyCommerce Share-it

Dear all,

After more than 14 years of loyalty to SWREG, our payment processor, we'll be switching to its sibling company MyCommerce Share-it (both are part of the Digital River Group.)

Actually, we were sad to learn that SWREG will stop its operations late December 2018. SWREG was probably the oldest shareware/software payment processor in the world. It was founded in 1987 in the pre-WWW era and collected payments for the utilities and games that were distributed on mail orders and through BBS services.

It is a pity that very few information about SWREG's history remain on the Web despite a very long journey spanning almost three decades. The Wikipedia article sums up 30 years in 3 lines:

A few hours ago, SWREG processed the last order for us from Australia (order U8056443502.)

Today at 15:15 GMT, we have pulled the plug on our legacy SWREG powered payment processing system.

From now on, our new system connected to MyCommerce Share-it will handle your orders. Our ordering page has been updated accordingly:
