ok i set up abyss web server so i can test my PHP scipts and hacks locally then upload them to my server thats managed by be-hosted.com i installed PHP and mysql all works fine but i use the CMS e107 and when i installed it loclally i go tthrough the install file fine the site displays right but when i click admin area i get a "error 200 OK" displayed... i have searched these forums and tryed some of the resolutions i tryed setting register_globals to "On" nothing...then i saw that it is displayed when there is no HTML to output...but there is...it works fine on my be-hosted.com server but not on the abyss server...ideas???

i downloades and installed liteserve and it works fine with that just not abyss server...but i like abyss more...i dont want to have to be stuck using liteserve...

Its possible their is a parse error in the e107 portal script
have you reported this to the e107 developers , Later!

Note: Abyss 2.0 Beta 1 will be released
tommarrow afternoon , be sure to try it.

PHP-Nuke SUCKS i will never use phpnuke even if my life depended on it...

if there was a parse error why dose it still display on my main server?

k somehow it fixed its self i dont know how...but it did...i always like it when things fix themselfes....

We've tested e107 on many Abyss configuration and it works fine (no error 200.) We recommend that you check the configuration of the script.

if worst comes to worst, put an   at the bottom of the page.

another problem might be you mixed up the directoriees and the code cannot aces the ouput file. or vice versa.

I am getting that error too. I am running phpbb with a photo album hack. It was working fine and I was uploading pics without a problem. Now when I try to upload a pic, it hangs for a moment and then i get the error 200 ok window.

e107 isint affected by regester globals..

i fixed the probolem already the problem was on of the e107 hacks i make (2forums hack) the first version of admin.php somehow got in to the files and so it wouldint display anything(becuse it was occuring errors before out put happened) found this out becuse i turned liteserve on and it have PHP errors instead of error 200

error 200 might most probably that you need register globals on try those on because its better for future use
