ok. i've set up my website and everything looks a-ok from inside the network. so then i went outside of the network to test and it can't find it. so i config ure port forwarding on my router to send port 81 to port 81 try again still not working. routers a F5D6230-3 from belkin it's pretty old and sucky so i might have to upgrade it.

any suggestions?

Ok , You need to do the following because this is all I can tell you.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
01. Get a port scanner , make sure that port isn't already in use.

02. Make sure you configure your firewall if you have one
to allow access to the Abyss Web Server program.

03. Make sure your using your real IP Address , you can check if
your using the right IP by going to http://www.IPChicken.com lol

Note: use http://IP_Address:port if not on port 80
to connect to your Abyss Web Server website.

04. If all else fails , call your ISP and ask them if they block ports , if
they block ports , chances are is that you need to find one that works.

Alternatively: Tell them "Hey! , I pay for this , I want my port opened!"
